The recorded narratives showcase that politico-diplomatic, strategic, military, economic, technological rivalries among States result in sub-regional, regional and global wars that are fought on land, at sea and in the air in nearly every part of the world. The advent and use of nuclear weapons, militarization of the space and the cyber domain has added newer complexities to wars. By all accounts, the two World Wars, the Cold War and the ongoing conflicts between Russia and Ukraine and the rivalry between the US and China are deeply immersed in geopolitics with global ramifications.
