The Center of Excellence for Geopolitics and International Studies (CEGIS) is conducting a Round Table Discussion on “Theorizing World Politics in Circa 2025: Old and New Predicaments” by Professor Siddharth Mallavarrapu. Professor Mallavarrapu is working in the Department of International Relations and Governance Studies (IRGS), School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), Shiv Nadar University (an Institution of Eminence). The RTD is scheduled on 8th April 2025, 11:00 AM at the Conference Hall, 6th Floor, Administrative Block, REVA University.
The global politics has changed, but the old predicaments with new dynamics have pushed the international order into an uncharted trajectory. There are power shifts, technological advancements, and competition that make global politics complex. This makes navigating national interests and cooperation difficult due to perennial tension and competition among states. The Round Table Discussion aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of contemporary international relations via a theoretical framework.
Professor Siddharth Mallavarrapu will focus on these themes and will be discussing the world politics under the theme “Theorizing World Politics in Circa 2025: Old and New Predicaments”. The discussion will be valuable for the students, academia, and industry.
