The Indo-Pacific region is increasingly becoming a focal point for global geopolitical competition, as diverse national interests, territorial disputes, and the pursuit of strategic dominance create significant risks of conflict. The region, which encompasses the waters of the South China Sea (SCS), the Taiwan Strait, the Himalayas, and extends to the Pacific Islands, has witnessed rising military activity, technological advancements in warfare, and a scramble for influence among major and regional powers.
